Man sentenced for sexual abuse of toddler ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) _ Alaska State Troopers say a Shungnak man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison and 15 years probation for sexually abusing a toddler. Troopers say 25-year-old Chester Cleveland was sentenced in Kotzebue court. He was convicted in January for sexually abusing a three year old boy he was baby-sitting in 2006. Judge Ben Esch says the sentence was warranted given Cleveland's lack of remorse. Shungnak is a community of 260 people located 150 miles east of Kotzebue. |
