Earthquake reported in Andreanof Islands

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) _ The Alaska Earthquake Information Center is reporting a strong earthquake in the Andreanof Islands.

The earthquake this evening had a preliminary magnitude of 6.5 and was located at a depth of about 5 miles.

The center says it was felt in Adak, but there were no reports of damage.
